The Real Housewives Of Atlanta"She by Sheree" to Fights with Kim, Lisa, & NeNe, The ATL socailitesWith rumors flying about them being broke and affairs with married men, Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta are getting a lot of media attention.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" premiered on Bravo a few weeks ago and have since set the blogs and even “legitimate” media outlets on fire. From the catfights to the blatant materialism, “ATL” version of the wildly popular series has been proven to be the most entertaining yet. With the season finale airing on Bravo on November 25 at 9 p.m. EST, it’s time for a recap of the “characters” that made this season so juicy. "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" On Bravo "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is the third installment in Bravo’s popular “Housewives” franchise. After starting off on the left coast with "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and heading “up north” for "The Real Housewives of New York," Bravo took it down south to the bustling city of Atlanta. It follows the lives of five over the top, glamorous “southern bells as they balance motherhood, demanding careers, and a fast-paced social calendar, and shows what life is like in the most exclusive areas of Atlanta,” says Bravo’s homepage. What seems to surprise fans the most, however, is when they find that these women are not really housewives, but more so entrepreneurs hocking everything from jewelry to clothing lines. The Women Of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta"Lisa Wu Hartwell Hartwell, the wife of NFL player Ed Hartwell, is a mother of three, 13-year-old Jordan and 10-year-old Justin reportedly fathered by Keith Sweat, and one year old EJ. A resident of a “luxurious” country club community, she is also the owner of a real estate firm, jewelry line, clothing line, actress, model, and writer. DeShawn Snow Arguably the show’s most beloved (and sane) characters, Snow is the wife of Cleveland Cavaliers captain Eric Snow. She is the mother of three boys, EJ, Darius, and Jarren and runs a non-profit organization called The Deshawn Snow Foundation, aimed at improving the self-esteem of teenage girls. Kim Zolciak The only Caucasian woman on the show, Kim lives in a gated community with her two children Brielle and Ariana. Linked to a man dubbed “Big Poppa” on the show (he declined to have his true identity revealed), she has since rejoined the singles scene with reported plans to marry in the future. Kim aspires to be a country singer and enlisted the help of Dallas Austin to make it happen. (He has since been quoted as saying, “We are not doing a song, we are not doing an album ... that was only for television!") Kim still insists, however, that she will be coming out with an album in early 2009. NeNe Leakes The loudest and outspoken member of the crew, NeNe lives in the Sugarloaf section of Atlanta with her husband Gregg and two sons, Brice and Brentt. She is also the founder of The Twisted Hearts Foundation, which brings awareness to domestic violence against women. It is said that NeNe is planning to open a luxury boutique hotel in the near future. Sheree Whitfield Sheree is currently going through a divorce from NFL player Bob Whitfield. Though she repeatedly announces that she is not settling for less than “seven figures,” Sheree is also planning to make her own money with her clothing like called “She by Sheree.” She is the mother of three children, Tierra, Kairo, and Kaleigh. Full of “unsocialitelike” antics, the reunion show of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" is set to premiere on Bravo on November 25 at 9 p.m. EST.
