CBS popular reality TV show returns Sunday as eleven Amazing Race teams depart Los Alamitos, California in a race around the world. Phil Koeghan hosts.
The Amazing Race returns for its fourteenth season with eleven new teams embarking on a 22 day journey around the world, spanning nine countries and 40,000 miles. Amazing Race contestants will be competing for a one million dollar prize by navigating through a series of detours, obstacles and challenges all while trying to beat their competition to the pit stop, or finish line, of each leg of the race. This year's cast has the same diversity as previous seasons, including the obligatory dating couples, a pair of flight attendants and stuntmen and the show's first ever deaf mother/son team.
Faced with physical challenges, language barriers and extreme temperatures, teams will require excellent communication, fitness and the ability to overcome their fears if they hope to not face elimination.
