VH1s Celebreality has a new outlet with Confessions of a Teen Idol. Fallen celebrities turn to Scott Baio and Jason Hervey to restart their acting careers.
Reality television meets Hollywood with programs like the ones that VH1 touts as “Celebreality.” These shows feature actors, musicians, and other celebrities who have fallen from grace. Whether they need to lose weight, get sober, find love, or restart their career, VH1 probably has a show just for them. The most recent addition to the Celebreality lineup is Confessions of a Teen Idol. Seven former celebrities want to get their career going again, and turn to Scott Baio, Jason Hervey, and a team of Hollywood experts for help. The celebrities need to learn what went wrong in their career so that they can avoid the mistakes of their past. Scott BaioAfter two Celebreality shows, Scott Baio is 45 and Single and Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant, Baio’s own career is starting to move again. Baio is best known for acting in the shows Happy Days and Charles in Charge and for dating a string of actresses and Playboy playmates. Recently, he had a guest spot on the hit show Arrested Development as well as roles in Finish Line and Van Stone: Tour of Duty. Jason HerveyJason Hervey is immediately recognizable as his most famous character, Wayne Arnold from The Wonder Years. Since then, he has had a difficult time breaking free of this hated character and has faced angry fans on multiple occasions. Hervey currently works as a producer and is married to Angela Hart.
