The Biggest Loser is back with a new cast of people hoping for big weight loss and big cash prizes. Meet the male cast members here.

NBC has revealed the new cast of it’s hit prime time show The Biggest Loser. The cast is a mix of young and old, all with one thing in common: the desire to lose a lot of weight. Hopefully Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper will be able to help them all. Read on to meet the male members of season nine, with the female cast members found here.

The Male Cast of NBC’s The Biggest Loser

Allen

Allen is a 43 year old firefighter and EMT who is feeling the struggle of working his active job while carrying an extra 100 pounds over his ideal weight. He does not want to be a burden to his fellow firefighter’s and wants to make sure he passes the annual required physical.

Antoine

Antoine is 23 and has a career in health insurance that requires a lot of travel. With his dad passing away with heart disease at a very young age, Antoine has had to step into the roll of man of the house to be a positive influence on his little brother. He wants to get fit and healthy to be able to continue to help provide for his mom and younger brother.

Daniel

Daniel was a contestant on last seasons Biggest Loser: Couples and has been given a second chance to return to the show and keep trying to lose weight. He was the heaviest contestant in the history of the show at 454 pounds. He lost 142 pounds by last season’s finale and hopes to continue on the same path this season.

Danny

Danny is 39 and a musician and land surveyor. He struggled with his weight before, losing 75 pounds in high school with positive results, but has since gone up to 427 pounds. He would love to have more energy for his two children, both of whom are struggling with their weight. He wants to be around a long time for his family.

Julio

Julio is a 39 year old mortgage loan office who grew up with traditional Cuban food which added to his weight gain. He wants to change his life to be fit, healthy and energetic to be a positive influence on his wife and two daughters.

Mo

Mo is the founder of a youth organization where he helps local children focus on academics and athletic excellence amidst their impoverished community. He loves to be a positive force in the kids’ lives and wants to be a fit and healthy role model for them as well as for his own family.

Rudy

Rudy is a Technician at a power station in Rhode Island where his weight affects his abilities to fit into tight spaces, and he lacks energy on the job. His family is his pride and joy and he wants to make sure he is around to walk his girls down the aisle one day. Food was always his favorite comfort as a child, getting him through the emotionally exhausting death of his sister from leukemia at just 16 years old. He wants to get healthy for his family.

Sean

Sean is a 29 year old youth pastor who wants to inspire the kids that he works with. He wants to have the energy to keep up with them and his own family, and is worried he won’t be around to see them grow up if he keeps gaining weight. Sean is also a singer and musician and feels like losing weight would make him more comfortable with being in the spotlight again, performing and helping the youth that he works with.
