Big Brother 11 Cast Revealed!
Meet the 12 New Houseguests Competing for the $500,000 Prize

On this morning’s edition of The Early Show, CBS officially unveiled the identities of the 12 new Houseguests who will compete in Big Brother 11. The season’s cast will be made up of Houseguests that fit into typical high school stereotypes, ranging from the athlete to the geek and everything in between. Upon entering the house, they will be told to divide themselves up into four groups: jocks, brainiacs, populars, and outcasts. The game will then be played in these teams during the early phase – a Big Brother first.
In an earlier interview with TVGrapevine.com, the show’s casting director, Robyn Kass, stated that this season’s cast contains some of her favorite characters to ever be in the Big Brother house. According to the official CBS Web site, there will also be a mystery 13th Houseguest, whose identity will be revealed to the world on Thursday, July 9 when the new season premieres.
On-line rumors brewing over the last few days suggest that this mystery guest will be Sheila Kennedy, the third-place finisher on Big Brother 9, who has reportedly been missing since the Houseguests entered sequester. Earlier today, former Big Brother 10 Houseguest Steven Daigle posted that several of his friends, including BB10's Brian Hart and BB8's Jessica Hughbanks had mysteriously disappeared, so it is possible that viewers will be able to vote a previous Houseguest into the game.
In alphabetical order, the contestants of Big Brother 11 are:
Braden Bacha, a 28 year-old surfer from Santa Monica, CA. Arrogant and self-absorbed, this California boy is also an international model and actor who claims he's had more than a few cyber-stalkers over the years.
Casey Turner, a 41 year-old father, teacher, and DJ from St. Petersburg, FL. As the oldest Houseguest this season and the only one with children, Casey feels the most difficult part of being in the Big Brother house will be the time away from his family, but he refuses to lose the game.
Chima Simone Benson, a 32 year-old Hollywood journalist from West Hollywood, CA. Educated and independent, this exotic beauty has a fun personality and is willing to make and break alliances in order to get to the end of the game.
Jeff Schroeder, a 31 year-old advertising salesman from Norridge, IL. Described as a "guy's guy," Jeff is looking for his perfect romantic partner and says that he'd be up for a showmance with one of his fellow Houseguests if she fit his "criteria."
Jordan Lloyd, a 22 year-old waitress from Matthews, NC. Jordan was recruited by a casting producer at her resturant and had never seen Big Brother. This outgoing small-town girl shares a room with her mom and brother and would like to buy a house if she wins the money.
Kevin Campbell, a gay 29 year-old graphic designer from Chula Vista, CA. Kevin has been auditioning for Big Brother since the beginning, and he hopes that his parents, with whom he's lost touch, will watch the show and see him on television. Though he claims to not have a temper, he warns that he can get bitchy.
Laura Crosby, a 21 year-old bikini model from Atlanta, GA. A huge fan of Big Brother, she is determined to be one of the most cutthroat players of the season and claims that she'll have no trouble lying to, deceiving, and backstabbing her fellow Houseguests.
Lydia Tavera, a 24 year-old make-up artist and former nanny from Torrance, CA. Adorned with tattoos and piercings, she hopes to find new friends in the Big Brother house and she plans to bring the women together so that a woman can win the game.
Michele Noonan, a 27 year-old neuroscientist from Pasadena, CA (originally from Iselin, NJ). This self-proclaimed nerd has been a Big Brother fan since season 2 and is determined to win the game for all the smart kids who've been picked on by the popular crowd.
Natalie Martinez, a 24 year-old Tae Kwon Do champion from Gilbert, AZ (originally from Chino, CA). This feisty Latina applied to the show at an open casting call in Arizona and knows that her toughness and determination will make her a force to be reckoned with.
Ronnie Talbott, a 30 year-old gamer from Belpre, OH (originally from Vienna, WV). Yet another "uber" Big Brother fan in the cast, Ronnie auditioned at an open casting call in Ohio. He's also a national champion at speech and debate, which he believes will come in handy in the game.
Russell Kairouz, a 24 year-old commercial real estate broker and mixed martial artist from Walnut Creek, CA. Nicknamed "Russell the Lovemuscle," this loud and brash fighter was recruited at a bar by Big Brother casting producers and claims that nothing scares him about taking on this challenge.
As always, the Houseguests’ every move will be recorded 24 hours a day by dozens of cameras and microphones. One by one, they’ll be evicted from the house until only one remains three months later to claim the half-a-million dollar prize.
When to Watch
Big Brother 11 will premiere Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Following the premiere, the show will air three nights weekly, on Sundays (8 p.m. EST), Tuesdays (9 p.m. EST), and Thursdays (live 8 p.m. EST/delayed PST).
