Meet the Models Competing to Win the Newest ANTM Cycle

America's Next Top Model is a competitive reality show airing on the CW network. Produced, hosted, and co-judged by supermodel Tyra Banks, it debuted on the now-defunct UPN network on May 20, 2003. The series follows a group of aspiring models as they compete to win a six-figure modeling contract, photoshoots, and the title of America's Next Top Model. Each week, the contestants engage in a series of challenges designed to test their skills in print, runway, and commercial modeling. A contestant is eliminated each week until the final two or three compete in one final runway show to determine the winner. Besides Banks, the judges currently include supermodel Paulina Porizkova, fashion photographer Nigel Barker, runway coach J. Alexander, and a rotating guest judge. Jay Manuel, a photo shoot director, assists the contestants during their challenges.
The twelfth cycle of America's Next Top Model will premiere at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 pm Central on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Thirteen hopefuls have been selected to compete for the prize and the winner will be named on May 20, 2009. The CW recently announced the newest cycle's lineup and they are profiled below.
Celia Ammerman: Hailing from Cynthiana, Kentucky, Celia is the oldest competitor this cycle at 25. She works in designer fashion sales and has modeling experience, including a photoshoot for Borderline Magazine.
Aminat Ayinde: A 21 year old student, Aminat has previously done a photoshoot for Omo Naija Magazine. She lives in Union, New Jersey but originally comes from Nigeria.
Tahlia Brookins: The 18 year old Tahlia is 6'1" and a college volleyball player from Phoenix, Arizona. When she was a baby, an accident resulted in severe burns on more than 25% of her body. Despite taunts and prejudices, she holds her head up high and continues to pursue a modeling career.
Kortnie Coles: At 24 years of age, Kortnie is the second oldest contestant in this cycle of America's Next Top Model. She hails from Houston, Texas and works as a non-profit organizer. She briefly dated NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Nijah Harris: The six foot tall Nijah was previously managed by Bleu Model Management. She's 18 years old and is originally from Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Allison Harvard: Allison, who is 20 years old, comes from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is an artist and has achieved a measure of internet notoriety as the subject of the "Creepy-chan" meme on the 4chan website.
London Levi: London is only 18 years old but this student and native of Arlington, Texas has been modeling for a long time and has an impressive pre-show portfolio.
Sandra Nyanchoka: Sandra is 19 years old and stands at 5'11". She's a student from Rockville, Maryland, although she is originally from Kenya, and she was recently a model for Race Model Management.
Natalie Pack: Natalie is a 19 year old student from Palos Verdes, California. She is six feet tall and has a large and diverse pre-show modeling portfolio.
Jessica Santiago: The 5'10" Jessica is originally from Bradenton, Florida. The 18 year old student competes in beauty pageants while pursuing a modeling career.
Fo: Coming from Albuquerque, New Mexico, the 19 year old Fo (last name unknown) is a student.
Isabella: Hailing from Barboursville, Virginia, 19 year old Isabella (last name unknown) lists her occupation as "aspiring model" on her official CWTV.com profile. She is 5'11" and her birth name is Kelly Marie.
Teyona: Teyona (last name unknown) is 20 years old and works as a loss prevention representative in her hometown of Woodstown, New Jersey.
